Officials who allegedly received money, flats for 'Unfinished Memoirs' under ACC scanner
An intelligence operation is already underway to investigate the allegations

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has placed 123 individuals, including former inspector general of police (IGP) Javed Patwary, under surveillance for allegedly receiving financial benefits for writing on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's "Unfinished Memoirs."
ACC Director General Md Akhtar Hossain disclosed the information at a press conference held at the commission's headquarters in Segunbagicha, Dhaka yesterday (17 August).
"The ACC has taken notice of the reports published in the media regarding this and is working on the matter," said Hossain.
He confirmed that an intelligence operation is already underway to investigate the allegations. "Further action will be taken based on the intelligence report. More details will be provided soon," he added.
