15 drivers of PMO from Hasina regime given Jhilmil plots: ACC
Each driver received either a ‘three-katha’ or ‘five-katha’ plot, the ACC official said

Fifteen drivers from the office of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina were given plots in the capital's Jhilmil Residential Project under special consideration, according to findings from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
ACC Director General Akhter Hossain shared the information today (24 July) in a press briefing following a drive carried out at the PMO yesterday (23 July).
Each driver received either a 'three-katha' or 'five-katha' plot, the ACC official said.
The project, however, was meant to award plots to individuals in four specific categories for their contributions to the state.
Launched by Rajuk in 1997, the Jhilmil Residential Project was intended to ease Dhaka's housing pressure by allocating land primarily to government officials, freedom fighters and other citizens recognised for their service to the state.
The ACC is now reviewing the documents and looking into how the plots were approved.
