Consensus Commission, parties to discuss upper house, women’s parliamentary seats today
The dialogue began at Foreign Service Academy in afternoon

The 22nd day of second-phase reform talks between the National Consensus Commission and political parties began today to discuss a total of seven reform proposals.
The discussion began at the Foreign Service Academy on Bailey Road in the capital with the Commission's Vice President Prof Ali Riaz in the chair this afternoon.
Women's representation in parliament, powers and responsibilities of the President (Article 48(3)), presidential election process, electoral college, framework of the upper house of the proposed bicameral parliament, method of electing members, jurisdiction, proposals related to expanding the fundamental rights of citizens, and the principles of the state are scheduled to be discussed in today's dialogue.
