Consensus Commission holds fresh round of talks with experts on July Charter implementation
The commission briefed the experts on the discussions it has had with political parties on the implementation of the charter

The National Consensus Commission has once again held an extensive meeting with experts on the methods and strategies for implementing the July National Charter 2025.
Justice MA Matin, a retired judge of the Supreme Court; Muhammad Ekramul Haque, dean of the Faculty of Law at Dhaka University; Sharif Bhuiyan, senior advocate at the Supreme Court; Barrister Tanim Hussain Shawon; and Barrister Imran Siddiq took part in the meeting yesterday (14 September) at the Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka.
The commission briefed the experts on the discussions it has had with political parties on the implementation of the charter.
In addition, recommendations previously received from political parties and experts on the methods and approaches to implementation were also discussed.
Representing the commission at the meeting were Vice-Chairman Professor Ali Riaz, members Badiul Alam Majumdar, Justice Md Emdadul Haque, Iftekharuzzaman and Md Ayub Mia.
The commission had earlier engaged in comprehensive discussions with legal and constitutional experts on 7 September on the finalisation of the July National Charter 2025, as well as the methods and mechanisms for its effective implementation.
