Coast Guard provides free medical services to 450 people in Chandpur
Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Hoque said on Thursday afternoon, 11 December 2025, that the Bangladesh Coast Guard continues to stand beside disadvantaged communities living along coastal and riverine areas.
Since its inception, the force has been providing free medical support to low-income and vulnerable people through various medical camps, he said.
As part of this ongoing effort, Coast Guard Station Chandpur organised a medical camp today from 10am to 3pm at the Coast Guard outpost in Noaini Lakshmipur under Haimchar police station.
A total of 450 poor, distressed and underprivileged individuals including children received free medical treatment and medicines.
Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Hoque said the Bangladesh Coast Guard will continue such humanitarian activities in the future.
