CA inspects progress of July Uprising Memorial Museum
The chief adviser spoke with engineers, architects, and workers involved in the project and instructed them to expedite the construction

On the occasion of 'July Mass Uprising Day', Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus visited Ganabhaban today (5 August) to inspect the ongoing construction of the July Mass Uprising Memorial Museum.
The museum is being built to document the context, struggle, sacrifices, and victory of the historic July Uprising of 2024.

During the visit, the chief adviser spoke with engineers, architects, and workers involved in the project and instructed them to expedite the construction, said a press release by the CA Press Wing.
Liberation War Affairs Adviser Farook-e-Azam, Housing and Public Works Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan, Cultural Adviser Mostafa Sarwar Farooki, and other members of the Museum Implementation Committee were present during the visit.

On September 5 last year, the interim government, a month after assuming office, decided to turn Ganabhaban into the July Mass Uprising Memorial Museum and formed a committee for its construction.
The museum will highlight the oppression endured by the public during the 15 years of Awami League rule. It will showcase artefacts, photos, and narratives of those who sacrificed their lives during the 2024 uprising and document events related to the political repression of the former regime.
