Bus torched in Chattogram’s New Market area
A unit from the Nandan Kanan Fire Station responded and brought the fire under control by 7:17pm

A passenger minibus was set on fire in Chattogram's New Market area this (20 July) evening according to fire service officials.
"No one was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire will be known after investigation," said Anwar Hossain, assistant director of Chattogram Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Anwar Hossain told The Business Standard that they received the fire report at 6:48pm.
A unit from the Nandan Kanan Fire Station responded and brought the fire under control by 7:17pm.
Kotwali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Karim said, "We are investigating who set the bus on fire. Since the passengers got off quickly, no one was hurt."
"The bus driver and his assistant are being questioned," he added.
