Bus-CNG auto-rickshaw collision leaves 5 dead in Pabna

Five people were killed and two others injured as a bus hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Ishwardi-Dashuria road in Ishwardi upazila of Pabna today (20 March).
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The bus crashed into the CNG-run auto-rickshaw around 5:30 pm in front of Baharpur Mallika Agro Food, leaving four passengers of the CNG-run auto-rickshaw dead on the spot and three others injured, said Shahidul Islam, officer-in-charge of Ishwardi Police Station.

Of the injured, one died on the way to Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital.
The condition of two injured victims was stated to be critical.
Police seized the bus but the driver and helper managed to flee.
