The BGB has strongly protested these actions, both verbally and in writing, during multiple flag meetings with the BSF

India's Border Security Force (BSF) has reportedly pushed 1,143 individuals into Bangladesh across 18 border districts between 7 May and 31 May.
The highest number of push-ins – 380 - occurred in Moulvibazar, followed by Khagrachhari (132), Sylhet (115), and Kurigram (93).
Other districts include Habiganj (41), Sunamganj (16), Cumilla (13), Feni (52), Lalmonirhat (85), Thakurgaon (19), Panchagarh (32), Dinajpur (15), Chapainawabganj (17), Kushtia (9), Meherpur (30), Chuadanga (19), Jhenaidah (52), and Satkhira (23), reports Prothom Alo, citing sources from the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
The BGB has strongly protested these actions, both verbally and in writing, during multiple flag meetings with the BSF.
The BGB asserts that these push-ins violate established border protocols and bilateral agreements.
In response, the BGB has heightened intelligence surveillance and increased patrol activities along the border to prevent further incidents, according to a press release.
