BMU outdoor services to remain open for 3 days during Eid
However, the indoor services, the emergency department and the emergency laboratories will remain open like always during the Eid holidays

Bangladesh Medical University (BMU) authorities have decided to keep their outdoor services open for three days during the Eid-ul-Adha vacation to provide urgent medical care to its patients.
According to the directive by BMU Vice Chancellor Dr Md Shahinul Alam, the outdoor services of the hospital will remain open tomorrow (5 June), Sunday (8 June) and Wednesday (11 June).
The BMU VC has directed the hospital's Director Brigadier General Abu Noman Mohammad Mosleh Uddin to keep the outdoor services open from 10am to 1pm during these three days, said a notice.
However, the indoor services, the emergency department and the emergency laboratories will remain open like always during the Eid holidays.
In a notice signed by BMU Registrar Professor Dr Md Nazrul Islam, the outdoor will remain closed for six days (6, 7, 9, 10, 12 and 13 June) during the festival.
During this time, all the classes and consultation services will remain closed, said the notice.
Meanwhile, BMU VC has directed the hospital authorities to serve special food to the patients on Eid days, the notice added.
Additionally, an Eid Jamaat will take place at the Central Jame Mosque of the university at 7:30am on Eid day (7 June).
Hafez Maulana Abdul Ahad, the Imam of the Jame Mosque, has requested all to participate in the Eid Jamaat, BMU authorities said in the notice.
The Eid reunion of the university will take place from 8:30am to 10:30am on 14 June, while the offices of the university will open on the same day, the notice further said.
