BB asks bankers to avoid foreign travel ahead of 13th JS polls
The circular instructed MDs, CEOs, and other top officials of banks to avoid foreign trips except for urgent reasons
Bangladesh Bank has asked bankers to avoid travelling abroad unless necessary until the 13th national election.
The central bank issued a circular today (26 November) from its Banking Regulation and Policy Department to all bank managing directors and senior executives.
The circular instructed MDs, CEOs, and other top officials of banks to avoid foreign trips except for urgent reasons. The directive is effective immediately.
The next national election is scheduled to be held in the first half of February next year.
