Barishal's Sher-E-Bangla hospital lags behind all other hospitals in country: Newly appointed director
The Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital in Barisal lags behind all other hospitals in the country, said its newly appointed Director Brig Gen AKM Moshiul Munir.
"Everything here is inadequate in terms of manpower and necessary medical equipment. To bring about changes in these areas, we will try to increase the quality of service by utilising government money 100% and take the hospital to the top," he told reporters at a press conference at the hospital's Department of Medicine today (9 December).
Moshiul said irregularities have been going on in this hospital for a long time. "These will be resolved gradually with everyone's cooperation."

He warned that government money should not be wasted in any way and said no irregularities will be tolerated.
