Bag-wrapped dismembered bodies of two women and a child found in Narayanganj
Three bodies were recovered from a hole next to a road in Mizmiji Paschimpara area, said Siddhirganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge Shahinur Alam

Police have recovered the dismembered bodies of two women and a child in Siddhirganj of Narayanganj today (11 April).
Three bodies were recovered from a hole next to a road in Mizmiji Paschimpara area, said Siddhirganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge Shahinur Alam.
The deceased have been identified as Lamia Akhter (22), her son Abdullah (4) and Lamia's elder sister Swapna Akhter (35).
OC Shahinur said, "Locals saw a bag-wrapped hand on the road next to a house in the afternoon. Later, when they informed the police, they came and recovered the dismembered bodies of two women and a child."
Earlier on 4 April, various dismembered human body parts wrapped in black polythene with scotch tape were found inside a box in Louhajang of Munshiganj.
Locals alerted the police after seeing suspicious objects wrapped in scotch tape near Anwar Chowdhury High School, adjacent to the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in the upazila's Medeni Mandal Khanbari area, said police.
Local residents suspect the deceased were killed by Lamia's husband Yasin, who was recently released from jail after being arrested by RAB in a drug case.
They said the two deceased sisters and the child recently rented a house in Jahangir Alam's house in Pukurpar area.
The landlord of the house, Jahangir Alam, said, "Lamia rented a house on 1 April. She was staying with her sister Swapna and her son Abdullah. When her husband came on the 7th, we wanted to know who this man was? Then Lamia introduced him as her husband and said that he was recently released from jail.
"The house was locked for 3/4 days. We thought they had gone somewhere else during the Eid holidays. Today, people in the area recovered a body wrapped in a sack covered with bricks on the road in front of the house," he added.
Meanwhile, police and RAB officials visited the scene. They are working to investigate the murder.
Narayanganj District Police Additional Superintendent of Police Tasmin Akhter (Finance and Administration) said, it is believed that they were killed three to four days ago due to a family dispute. Lamia Akhter's husband Yasin has been arrested from Kalapara area of Siddhirganj on suspicion of involvement in the incident. He is being questioned.
