Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman visited the Dhakeshwari National Temple in the Old Dhaka as part of the celebration of Pahela Baishakh, the first day of Bengali New Year-1432.

During the visit, the Army chief enjoyed a cultural programme organised by the Mahanagar Puja Committee today (14 April), said a post on Bangladesh Army's official Facebook page.

He also exchanged Noboborsho greetings with the people who were present there.
