The Executive Committee (EC) of Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) today (16 November) held a meeting at its boardroom with the newly appointed BOA President and Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman in the chair.

During the first meeting after taking charge as the BOA president, the army chief thanked all concerned and expressed his firm vow to take the country's sports arena to the highest peak of prosperity, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release.

Members of the BOA executive committee and representatives of the mass-media, among others, were also present there.
