82% of citizens find government healthcare services easily accessible: Survey
Over 92% found the cost of education affordable

Over 82% of citizens found government healthcare services easily accessible, while 89.34% considered them affordable, finds a recent survey conducted by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS).
The data was published today (19 June) as part of the Citizen Perception Survey (CPS).
According to the survey findings, 47.12% of citizens have accessed government healthcare services at least once in the past year.
Regarding overall satisfaction, 65.07% of respondents were satisfied with the quality of healthcare, 63.10% with the behaviour and treatment by healthcare providers, and 63.19% with the time and attention given by doctors or health workers.
In the education sector, 40.93% of citizens reported having at least one child enrolled in a government primary or secondary school.
Of those, 96.46% said primary schools were conveniently located — reachable within 30 minutes by any mode of transport or on foot — and 92.66% found the cost of education affordable.
For secondary schools, 82.20% cited accessibility and 80.86% affordability.
In terms of education quality, 67.93% of respondents rated primary schools positively, while 71.86% expressed satisfaction with the quality of secondary education.
