8 Turkish experts meet Adviser Bashir over Dhaka airport fire investigation
During the discussion, the team assured full cooperation in all technical and institutional aspects of the investigation.
A team of eight Turkish experts met with Sk Bashir Uddin, adviser to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, to discuss the investigation into the fire at the cargo village of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
The meeting took place this morning (26 October) at the Ministry of Commerce in the Bangladesh Secretariat.
During the discussion, the team assured full cooperation in all technical and institutional aspects of the investigation.
Bashir thanked the experts and said the collaboration would strengthen ties between the two countries and play an important role in advancing the investigation.
The team was led by First Degree Chief Superintendent Oykun Ilgun. Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh Ramis Sen also attended the meeting.
Secretary Nasrin Jahan, Additional Secretary Humayra Sultana, and officials from the aviation and civil aviation division of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism were also present at the meeting.
