73 organisations to get registered as election observers
Anyone wishing to raise objections regarding this matter can submit an application to the Election Commission secretary by 20 October.
Ahead of the 13th parliamentary election, the Election Commission (EC) has issued a notification granting registration to 73 organisations as election observers.
A total of 318 organisations applied to the commission to register as election observers, Md Ashadul Haque, assistant director (public relations) of EC, confirmed today (27 September).
A notification has been issued, considering 73 among them eligible.

Anyone wishing to raise objections regarding this matter can submit an application to the Election Commission secretary by 20 October.
"After addressing the claims and objections, the EC will finalise the registrations," he added.
