7 Secretariat buildings to remain without electricity tomorrow
Although government offices have weekly holidays on Fridays and Saturdays, offices are often kept open even on closed days for urgent needs

There will be no electricity in seven buildings of the Secretariat, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 9, from 9am to 5pm tomorrow (25 April) for maintenance of the electrical substation.
The Sub-Divisional Engineer's Office of the Public Works Secretariat issued a notice to this end today (24 April).
In the notice, the Sub-Divisional Engineer's Office also expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience.
After receiving the notice, the ministries and departments, which will be impacted due to the lack of power, have informed their officials and employees about the matter through separate office orders.
Although government offices have weekly holidays on Fridays and Saturdays, offices are often kept open even on closed days for urgent needs.
For this reason, everyone has been informed in advance about the eight-hour power outage.
Alternative arrangements for water and electricity supply have been made in the Secretariat as Key Point Installations (KPIs), sources familiar with the matter said.
