The letter was issued by Jibannagar BNP President Anwar Hossain Khan Khokan and General Secretary Shahjahan Ali

At least five leaders of BNP and Jubo Dal in Chuadanga have been expelled over disobeying party discipline through mismanagement in fertiliser supply and distribution in the district.
The expelled leaders are- member of BNP's Jibannagar upazila unit Abul Kashem, president of Baka union BNP Abdul Khalek, general secretary Abul Bashar and vice-president Khademul Islam Khokon, according to an expulsion letter seen by The Business Standard.
The letter was issued by Jibannagar BNP President Anwar Hossain Khan Khokan and General Secretary Shahjahan Ali.
Besides, convener of Jubo Dal's Banka union unit Raza Malita has also been expelled, according to a letter, seen by TBS, signed by Baka Union Jubo Dal Convener Moin Uddin and Member Secretary Kamrul Islam.
Confirming the matter, Jibannagar BNP President Khokon said the problem arose when the expelled BNP and Jubo Dal leaders meddled in the distribution of fertilisers at the Banka union parishad premises yesterday (4 February).
"The image of the party was compromised due to the indiscipline. As a result, the party took action against the five leaders. BNP's Jibannagar upazila unit has taken actions against its four leaders, while the local unit of Jubo Dal has expelled one of its leaders," Khokon said.
"Actions will be taken against anyone who will break the discipline of the party," Khokon added.
