Police and army in a joint raid yesterday night (3 October) arrested four youths with firearms and ammunition from the city's Martyred Intellectuals' Graveyard area in Mirpur.
The arrestees are- Md Hossain, 27, Md Rifat alias Nipu, 19, Md Sohan, 19, and Md Naim, 19.
In a press release, the police said that a joint team of Darus Salam Thana and army arrested four persons from the city's Martyred Intellectuals' Graveyard area in Mirpur at 7:30pm on Thursday.

They recovered two foreign-made pistols, three bullets, one magazine, one knife, six mobile phone sets and 12 batteries of cell phone allegedly from their possessions.
