383 criminals arrested, arms recovered by joint forces in a week

A total of 383 criminals, including listed terrorists, extortionists, robbers, hijackers, kidnappers, members of kishore gangs, and drug dealers, were arrested from various locations of the country between 6 March to 13 March in joint operations of the army and other forces.
Three pistols, one revolver, two shotguns, ammunition, cocktail bombs, narcotics, various types of indigenous weapons used in terrorist activities, passports, law enforcement uniforms, national ID cards, mobile phones, SIM cards, and cash were recovered from the arrested, reads a statement released by the army today (14 March).
The arrested individuals have been handed over to the respective local police stations for necessary interrogation and legal action, adds the statement.

In light of the current situation in the country, the Bangladesh Army continues to work professionally across the nation to maintain law and order.
To maintain the overall law and order situation in the country, the Bangladesh Army will continue these operations and the general public is urged to provide information about any suspicious activity to the nearest army camp, adds the statement.
