3-day Travel and Tourism Fair to kick off on 30 October
The country's largest tourism exhibition in Dhaka

Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh will organise the Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair-2025, the country's largest tourism exhibition, from 30 October to 1 November at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka.
The association's President Md Rafiuzzaman announced details of the upcoming event at a press briefing and memorandum of understanding signing ceremony held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dhaka today (01 September).
The focus of this year's fair will be on sustainable and environmentally friendly tourism, featuring 220 stalls across four pavilions, hosting more than 250 exhibitors from over 20 countries.
Over 2,000 commercial representatives are expected to take part, while organizers estimate that more than 50,000 visitors will attend.
Rafiuzjaman said the fair would include a dedicated zone for medical tourism.
Tourism organisations and associations from Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka have confirmed their participation, while discussions are underway with several other countries.
Tour operators and travel agents from Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives, China, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, UAE, and Turkey will also be present.
Exhibitors will include international and domestic airlines, travel agencies, hotels, resorts, and cruise liners.
Other features of the fair will include B2B sessions, seminars, roundtable discussions, cultural programmes, and daily screenings of documentaries showcasing tourist destinations in Bangladesh.
Visitors will also have the chance to win prizes through raffle draws.
Md Taslim Amin Shobhon, Tour Operators Association director (trade and fair), said this year marks the 13th edition of the fair, which will be held on a much larger scale than previous years.
He added that the registration system for exhibitors has been upgraded with new features on the official website, allowing international participants to register and access event details online.
"For the first time in Bangladesh, a dedicated app for the fair has also been launched. It will provide venue maps, stall details, and a seamless navigation experience," he said.
The organisers said the event would be plastic-free, with tree-planting initiatives and campaigns to promote eco-friendly tourism across Bangladesh's eight divisions.
A competition for travel photography, videos, and stories will also be held, with winning entries displayed during the fair.
In her remarks, Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation Chairman Sayema Shahin Sultana highlighted the role of the fair in developing the tourism sector and assured the government's full support for its success.
The press event was hosted by Md Yunus, Tour Operators Association director (media and public relations).
The fair's brand ambassador, Shubhashish Bhumik, was also present.
