Bangladeshi worker held over murder of 3 countrymen in Malaysia
Police believe the incident occurred at several locations, with investigations ongoing to establish the full sequence of events.
Three Bangladeshi nationals have been killed and another seriously injured following what police believe was a violent dispute among co-workers at a residence in Taman Linggi, Malaysia's Negeri Sembilan state.
According to The New Straits Times, Malaysian police have arrested a Bangladeshi man in his 40s in connection with the incident, which unfolded yesterday afternoon (3 August).
Negeri Sembilan Police Chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad said officers responded to a public report around 4:15pm about a fight involving several Bangladeshi nationals at a house in Taman Linggi.

"Acting on the information, a team from the Linggi police station rushed to the scene and arrested a Bangladeshi man in his 40s," he said in a statement.
Further investigations led officers to another location in the Sua Manggis estate in Linggi, where they recovered the bodies of two additional victims.
"The three Bangladeshi men were confirmed dead after suffering severe injuries to various parts of their bodies, while another victim sustained injuries and is receiving treatment at Rembau Hospital," he said.
Police said preliminary findings indicate that all those involved were colleagues who lived and worked together at the same residence.
"The incident is believed to have occurred at several locations, and investigations are ongoing to establish the full sequence of events.
"Preliminary checks found that the suspect has no previous criminal record. He will be brought before the Port Dickson magistrate's court today for a remand application," Alzafny said.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of Malaysia's Penal Code for murder. Police said the motive behind the killings has yet to be established and remains under investigation.
