In the ongoing nationwide operations to uphold law and order, 25,721 more were arrested in 18 days, since the nationwide crackdown on suspected criminals began afresh.
In the last 24 hours, 2,271 more crime suspects were captured from across the country.
Among those detained, 1,118 were in connection with previous cases or based on outstanding warrants and the remaining 1,153 others on various criminal charges.
