There will be 22 public holidays in 2024 by general and executive orders, with two coinciding with Friday.

The list was announced by Cabinet Secretary Mahbub Hossain on Monday (23 October).

The cabinet had approved 22 public holidays in 2023 as well. Out of which 8 days were Friday and Saturday.
