2 vessels carrying octane, furnace oil set to arrive at Ctg Port tomorrow
Despite the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, BPC has been maintaining a stable import and supply of fuel oil to meet the country’s demand, says the statement
Two fuel-laden vessels carrying octane and furnace oil are scheduled to arrive at Chattogram Port tomorrow (8 April), under the supervision of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC).
The Marshall Islands-flagged tanker MT Central Star, carrying around 26,000 tonnes of refined octane from Malaysia, is expected to reach the outer anchorage of the port.
On the same day, another vessel, MT Eastern Queens, transporting around 25,000 tonnes of furnace oil, is also scheduled to anchor at the port.
BPC Assistant Manager (Public Relations) Farzin Hasan Moumita confirmed the matter in a statement.
According to the statement, despite the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, BPC has been maintaining a stable import and supply of fuel oil to meet the country's demand.
