Police said the victims were travelling to Cox's Bazar from Dhaka on a motorcycle, along with several friends who were riding separate motorcycles.
Quoting locals, Chiringa Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ariful Amin said, "A bus struck a motorcycle and a truck from behind while they were moving in the same direction. This crushed the motorcycle, leaving the two riders critically injured."
They were rescued by locals and taken to Chakaria Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor declared them dead.
