Gas supply will be halted for 12 hours in some parts of the capital today due to the transfer and maintenance of gas pipelines.

State-owned Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited notified the media about the disruption yesterday.

Titas informed that the tie-in work for transferring existing gas pipeline within the layout of the mosque of a residential building project of the Agargaon Taltala planning department in Mirpur would be under construction.

Due to the construction work, gas supply will remain disrupted in areas surrounding the Parliament House, including Manipuripara, Agargaon, taltola, Shewrapara, Paikpara, South Kazipara, Pirerbag, the southern side of Manipuripara from Mirpur-10, Shishu Mela to Agargaon, and surrounding areas.
