10 police SPs transferred as part of reshuffle
Under the reshuffle, Bogura, Sylhet, Barishal, Jamalpur, Mymensingh and Khagrachhari received new SPs.
The government today (4 March) transferred 10 officials holding the rank of superintendent of police (SP). Under the reshuffle, Bogura, Sylhet, Barishal, Jamalpur, Mymensingh and Khagrachhari received new SPs, according to a Home Ministry notification.
Bogura SP Md Shahadat Hossain was transferred to the Armed Police Battalion (APBn), while Khagrachhari SP Mirza Sayem Mahmud became SP of Bogura. DMP Deputy Commissioner Md Mostak Sarkar was appointed SP of Khagrachhari.
Mymensingh SP Md Mizanur Rahman was transferred to the Police Training Centre (PTC) in Noakhali, with DMP Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Kamrul Hasan replacing him.

Sylhet SP Quazi Akhter Ul Alam was moved to APBn, and Jamalpur SP Chowdhury Md Jaber Sadek was appointed SP of Sylhet. DMP Deputy Commissioner Farhana Yasmin became SP of Jamalpur.
Barishal SP Farzana Islam was transferred to the River Police, while Police Headquarters Assistant Inspector General AZM Mustafizur Rahman took over.
