Tarique Rahman heads to Mymensingh tomorrow
This will be his first visit to Mymensingh in 21 years
BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman is set to visit Mymensingh tomorrow (27 January) as part of his campaign for the 13th national election.
This will be his first visit to Mymensingh in 21 years, BNP sources said.
During the daylong programme, Tarique Rahman will address three separate public rallies in Mymensingh, Gazipur and Uttara in Dhaka, according to the BNP's media cell.
He is scheduled to address a rally at the Circuit House ground in Mymensingh at 2:30pm. On his return journey, he will speak at a public meeting at the historic Rajbari ground in Gazipur at 6pm.
Later in the evening, Tarique Rahman will address another rally organised by the local BNP at the Azampur Eidgah ground in Uttara at 7pm.
Tarique Rahman last visited Mymensingh on 20 July 2005.
