Tarique to address 14 rallies in Dhaka in next two days
Tomorrow’s campaign trail will begin at 2pm at the ECB Chattar in Dhaka-17, Tarique Rahman’s own electoral seat
BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman is set to conduct an intensive election campaign across the capital, addressing 14 public rallies in Dhaka North and South over the next two days.
According to BNP Election Steering Committee spokesperson Mahdi Amin, the party chief will attend six rallies in Dhaka North tomorrow (8 February) and eight more, including his own constituency, on the day after.
Tomorrow's campaign trail will begin at 2pm at the ECB Chattar in Dhaka-17, Tarique Rahman's own electoral seat. From there, he is scheduled to speak at Pallabi in Mirpur after 40 minutes, followed by another rally at Mirpur-10 (Dhaka-15).
The next day, Monday, the BNP chairman will ramp up his presence in Dhaka South, while also returning to Dhaka-17 for an 11am rally at the Kamal Ataturk Avenue playground in Banani.
This schedule is designed to galvanise support for BNP-nominated candidates, including Mirza Abbas, Ishraque Hossain, and Bobby Hajjaj, as the nation prepares for the upcoming national polls on 12 February.
