Nasir-Ud-Doula, additional secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, has been assigned the routine duties of the ministry's secretary.

The ministry issued a notification in this regard today (2 March).

The announcement comes after the government sent agriculture secretary Mohammad Emdad Ullah Mian into compulsory retirement.
