Trump pauses immigration from ‘Third World’ countries
After the killing of National Guard members in Washington, Donald Trump announced a permanent suspension of immigration from all third world countries and a re-examination of green cards from 19 countries. Visa renewals for citizens of countries under the embargo may be difficult, family-based immigration may be delayed, but legal citizens already in the United States will not be separated. Refugee entry is also tightened, and H-1B visa fees have been increased.
