French President Emmanuel Macron is heading to China for a three-day state visit this week amid global trade turmoil. The visit, at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, will focus on strengthening strategic cooperation between the two countries, France's geopolitical role in the European Union and issues related to the Russia-Ukraine war.
