Phoenix Summit brings experts together to advance cybersecurity readiness
Bangladesh's leading cybersecurity convergence platform, The TeamPhoenix Group (TTPG), has announced Phoenix Summit 2026, a five-day event aimed at strengthening the country's cyber resilience through talent development, cross-sector collaboration and enhanced digital preparedness.
The summit is scheduled to take place from 23 to 27 June 2026 in Dhaka.
It will be hosted across two venues, with technical workshops at Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) and the main conference at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre (BCFCC).
The announcement was made at a press conference held at the National Press Club, where organisers outlined the summit's vision of strengthening Bangladesh's cybersecurity ecosystem through talent development, cross-sector collaboration and enhanced digital resilience.
Among those present at the press conference were A S M Shamim Reza, Founder and Managing Director of The TeamPhoenix Group (TTPG); Dihan Islam Olif, Director, Operations and Community; and Md Abdullah Farid, Advisor, Strategy and Transformation.
Phoenix Summit 2026, powered by BRAC Bank PLC, is set to advance Bangladesh's cyber sovereignty and national cyber resilience by bringing together government, industry, academia and cybersecurity professionals to strengthen the country's digital future.
The summit will be supported by key national institutions, including the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the ICT Division of the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, and the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA).
The three-day International Cybersecurity Workshop Series will be delivered by global experts and will focus on practical skill development in areas such as Practical Cyber Investigation, DevSecOps for Practitioners, Application Security and Vulnerability Management, and Defensive Engineering for the Ransomware Lifecycle.
The workshops will be held from 23 to 25 June at Krishibid Institution Bangladesh.
This will be followed by the International Cybersecurity Conference on 26 and 27 June at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre, bringing together policymakers, technology experts, industry leaders and cybersecurity professionals from Bangladesh and abroad.
The two-day summit conference will feature two dedicated track days, Blue Team Day and Red Team Day, across two stages: the Technical Stage and the Enterprise Stage.
The Technical Stage will cover Security Engineering, Threat Intelligence, Application Security, Cloud Security, Incident Response, Red Team and Blue Team Operations, and Emerging Technologies.
The Enterprise Stage will focus on Cyber Risk and Governance, Financial Sector Resilience, Women in Cybersecurity, Digital Trust, Executive Cyber Leadership, Regulatory and Policy Direction, and National Cybersecurity Strategy.
At the opening ceremony, Zahir Uddin Swapon, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, will attend as the chief guest.
Faqir Mahbub Anam, Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, will attend as the chief guest for the closing ceremony and share perspectives on the role of cybersecurity in safeguarding national interests and advancing Bangladesh's digital future.
Rehan Asif Asad, Adviser to the Prime Minister, will attend as the honourable guest.
Quazi Anowar Hossain, Secretary, ICT Division, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, will attend as the special guest for the closing ceremony.
The summit will also host leadership dialogues and knowledge-sharing sessions featuring delegates and experts from Germany, Australia, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Malaysia.
The TeamPhoenix Group, in collaboration with 39 university clubs across the country, will present the Best Cybersecurity Club Award for the second consecutive year and the Women in Cybersecurity Award for the third consecutive year, recognising outstanding contributions to Bangladesh's cybersecurity ecosystem.
